Rotation/self buffs = Seal of Blood, Blessing of Kings, Then FCFS rule. (first come first serve) Obviously enough. Whichever is off CD. Spells used: Crusader Strike, Judgment, Divine Storm, and Consencration.
Major Glyphs =
Glyph of Judgment If you don't know why 20% damage is a good choice then you shouldn't be playing ret.
Glyph of Consencration (+2sec duration and +2sec CD) which is the equivelence to having 108mp5.
Glyph of Avenging Wrath A somewhat interesting PvE glyph. Effectively gives you 50% more Hammer of Wrath damage, but it is pretty conditional - it requires you being able to use Hammer of Wrath (so it is only really useful on bosses), that you have AW ready to use, and that you have enough mana to dump on HoW. If your not raiding and just 5-manning use Glyph of Lay on Hands.
Ret Paladins do not need any MP5, and most dps plate will not have it so don't worry about this.
A note on stamina; it's needed for raids considering most boss' have an aoe of some sorts but almost all plate will have stamina on it. So i didn't put any equivlence points for it.
Strength is the overall main focus obviously. Every 1 Strength = 2ap with 5/5 ds 2.2 and with kings 2.4. Since AP isn't buffed by kings and other % increasing stats it's lower down on the list of Must haves.
Also its note worthy to say ret paladins should always shoot for a slow dps weapon, SoB does less damage with faster weapons and a lot of our attacks are instant regardless of weapon swing, so min/max damage on a weapon>weapon speed. A weapon with 160dps@3.1 speed Vs a weapon at 160dps@3.5speed the slower one wins.
Tell me if this helps or if there is anything you'd like to question.
