Lootrank is a Wow item ranking system. Enter weightings of your item stats and Lootrank provides a sorted list of items based on these weightings. A higher weighting indicates that the stat is more valuable than a lower rating. The 'Score' result is simply the sum of all of the stats multiplied by your assigned stat weightings.
You can filter the results by many fields, including source of drop, class, type and more.
You can also import your character items from the official wowarmory so that the lists will then show the relative upgrade score worth and highlight your currently equipped items. If you select "All" as your slot then a Top 50 upgrade list will be shown at the bottom of the Lootrank report.
** Important **
We provide sample templates for each class as a starting point. Note that these templates are approximations and may not be the 100% optimal for your gear level, talent spec and play style. To further refine the lists, you need to have a good grasp on the value of the item stats for your toon. You can get this kind of information from visiting many of the theorycrafting sites out there. The class forums at
http://www.elitistjerks.com is a great starting point.
Notes and limitations
* We rank only uncommon (green) quality items and above and include all items from the Burning Crusade and WOTLK expansions. Many "old world" items have been excluded.
* On-Use abilities are used in the calculations where they can be quantified. Note that some of the on-use/proc abilities are very gear/class/play-style dependent and cannot be quantified. Consequently, some trinkets, librams, idols and totems may not be ranked according to the true value for your character.
* Secondary abilities from meta gems and tier set bonuses are not included in the calculations.
* If you know what meta gem you want then you can enter a non-zero score into the "Meta" weighting. Lootrank will add this score to all slots with a meta socket. Note that you need to enter a score and not an item id for the meta socket.
* 'Bonus armor' refers to the armor bonus that items get above and beyond their normal armor. It includes armor on rings, weapons, trinkets and neck pieces. This is useful to druids where they do not get the multiplier on bonus armor, therefore this will get weighted lower. All other classes should give this the same weighting as normal armor.
